Angela is an incredible
guide, she is knowledge, thoughtful and fun.
She did a great job tailoring our hike to
our group and ensuring we all had a great
time. Would HIGHLY recommend that anyone
even considering, to book with her. We would
do it again, and her nighttime hike is on
our list for next time!

We had a lovely sunset walk
in the mountains with Angela as our guide
who had excellent local knowledge of the
area and it is not a well known public
trail. We were also able to do star gazing
as we return. We enjoyed this very much
thank you!

Wat een fantastische ervaring

Angela en Kyra hebben ons goed begeleid door,om en in de bergen.
Veel gezien en geroken want er groeien behoorlijk veel kruiden op Siërra Nevada.
Het was een heerlijke verkoeling want die dag was het 44 graden maar door de frisse douche die je kan nemen in de berg(waterval) is het heel goed uit te houden. En als afsluiting de zonsondergang boven Granada. Een hele mooie ervaring met herinneringen die we niet meer vergeten. Bedankt Angela en Kyra.

Had an amazing time hiking
and talking with Angela. She’s not only a
great person—she was more concerned about me
catching my bus than I was and insisted on
driving me straight to the station after
dropping everyone else off—but also
incredibly knowledgeable about the Sierra
Nevada. She pointed out all sorts of plants,
a goat, and shared so much interesting
information along the way.
The hike itself was fantastic, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to Spain for the night hike.

We loved this adventure! We
had considered just going for a hike on our
own with a map, but never ever could have
matched this experience. Myself (54) and
three teen boys had a blast! Waterfalls,
crawling through cave crevices and
suspension bridges- all safe. I am a bit
claustrophobic but none of this bothered me.
The dog is so friendly and fun to have
leading the way. I will remember this as a
highlight!

If you’re an outdoorsy person
you must do this hike it’s so beautiful and
so much fun if you like adventure. We saw so
many waterfalls and crawled around in them.
Was about 3 hours and maybe 4 miles total.
Super fun and you end with a beautiful
sunset. The guide was so knowledgeable about
the landscape and plants. Definitely do
this.

This was a great hike! It
rained a lot earlier in the day so I think
it was a bit more adventurous than it
normally is with a lot more water. We had a
lot of fun. My only wish is that I would
have brought more water. It was a pretty
good work out with quite a bit of elevation.

Angela and Kira were such a
delight to hike with. Angela is a wealth of
information and is incredibly experienced in
this terrain, she gives great instruction
and guidance for the slightly tricky parts.
We had a great time exploring the canyon and
then the views from the crests, and loved
having a four legged guide leading most of
the way. Such a unique experience there near
Granada, highly recommend!

What a great trip. Angie
knows what she’s doing. The hike was
beautiful but also lots of fun. Our
teenagers had a blast and that’s saying a
lot. Angie knew how to keep everyone safe
but also let them explore some amazing
caves, waterfalls, and amazing hiking.
Kira the dog was everyone’s favorite trail guide (no shade to Angie, but what a cool dog).

Angela is amazing! She is so
sweet and warm and takes such good care of
everything. She knows a lot about the area,
explains a lot about the vegetation, the
different landscapes and shows parts of the
area that are not so known. Would 1000

Our family of five had the
best time hiking with Angela and Kira. The
boys loved hiking with a dog, exploring the
canyon, and going under waterfalls. Angela’s
warmth and enthusiasm is infectious and she
is generous with her knowledge of local
plants and animals. It’s a real adventure,
in an incredibly beautiful setting. We all
left a little braver and in awe of the
beautiful magic of the Sierra Nevada’s at
dusk.

Such a spectacular trek.
Doing this hike in the evening was amazing.
We caught the sunset well in time and the
golden hour through the trees was
exceptional. The extra hill was worth it.
Next time i bring my hiking boots for a
proper look round.

One of the most outstanding
experiences! My partner and I had a very
last minute booking with Angela and Kira 🐾,
which ended up being a private tour (Keep in
mind, if you are a non-private tour and are
the only booking it can cost around 50€
extra) and it was absolutely worth it! We
chose a day with perfect weather, watched
the sun set over Granada city and the
watched the ‘Flower Moon’ rise from the sea
over the mountains, which lit up our exit
from the park. Angela was super
knowledgeable on, and passionate about, the
flora of the area and we learnt so much from
her (thank you for the sage and juniper
berries too!). And if you needed a doggy
fix, Kira is the perfect companion - what a
sweet, affectionate and fun-loving little
girl (make sure you feel her soft fur
too!)! 🐶

It is definitely my best
memory in Granada!!! Angela and Kira are so

Fantastische ervaring in de

maar ontzettend vriendelijk en weet veel van

Angela and Kira (Angela’s
lovely dog) were amazing guides! Angela was
incredibly prepared with anything people may
have forgotten for the hike. She was
extremely knowledgeable about the flowers
and plants along the route. The hike was not
very hard, but Angela was great at helping
those who were not as experienced hikers,
especially on the way down the mountain
after sunset. The views were stunning.
Overall, this was a great experience and fun
escape from the city center!

If you love the outdoors,
this hike is not to be missed. The
wildflowers in early May are incredible. We
saw Ibex playing on the rocky ledges. And of
course, the views, stunning. Angela is a
terrific guide, full of lovely stories and
details about the Sierras. Kira is lovely
too. We would definitely do this experience
again!

I highly recommend this tour
with Angela. She is extremely knowledgeable
about the flora and just about every aspect
of the Sierra Nevadas . She gave me the
courage to do the last part to reach the
summit. She had great stories. Her dog ,
Kira, was so well behaved and a delight to

Spectacular hike through
richly textured and changing terrain. May
flowers were abundant with Serviceberries,
Monkeyflower, orchids, and others all
blooming. Peonies were just about to
blossom. The trail is in good condition and
the views of Granada are breathtaking as the
sun sets. Angela and Kiera took great care
of us. And the people who choose to hike on
their holidays make for wonderful new
friends. Oh. And THE IBIX :). One of our
best experiences in Spain. Make time for
this.

I went on an unforgettable
hike to the Sierra Nevada mountains in
Granada with Angela, and it was truly
magical. We reached the summit just in time
for a breathtaking sunset, and throughout
the hike, Angela shared so much knowledge
about the local wildlife, vegetation, and
even the stars. She was incredibly kind and
welcoming, even providing us with gear to

If you enjoy hiking and are
in moderately good shape, this a very unique
experience. The Sierra Nevada national park
is surprisingly close to Granada. You’ll
experience amazing views of the mountains
and city below. The pace is moderate but
there are some steeper up and down portions.
It’s possible in athletic shoes but hiking
boots would work better. Get out of the city
for a few hours and enjoy!

This was such a fun hike!
Angela frequently paused to tell us about
local plants/animals as we encountered them.
She gave advice for how to walk through the
tricky parts (steeper hills with loose
gravel, for example), and had extra coats
available for anyone who needed them. The
walk back down was a little tricky in the
dark, but she had headlamps we could use if
needed. The top portion of the hike was a
little challenging, but there was an
alternate sunset-watching spot for those who
weren't able to climb to the peak.

Angela is a remarkable guide
and incredible person! There are so many
magical moments on this hike. Without her
expertise and guidance, I would have missed
out on them all! She maneuvered us on and
off the trails with ease, all while sharing
her fount of nature knowledge about local
plants and wild life. I wasn’t sure I would
have the stamina for hiking over 3 hours,
but the time just flew and she was able to
customize the hike to my ability. I
absolutely recommend this hike! Not only

This was the first guided
hike I had ever done, and it was wonderful!
Angela was super knowledgeable about the
area and the mountains and me and my friend
learned so much on our hike. We had such a

We had a wonderful afternoon

Absolutely amazing
experience. There is not public
transportation to the mountains so this
experience enables access to beautiful
country. Angela drove us from the town. She
has a wonderful route with amazing views of

The experience with Angela
was one of the top activities we did during
our stay in Spain. We did the hike with 3
kids, youngest 7. They enjoyed it. Angela
truly makes it an experience by giving
information about the landscape and pointing
out interesting facts along the way. you'll

10/10 would recommend. This
is great option to do something beyond the
usual tourist activities. I told Angela I
like exercise so she provided extra
challenges/ peaks for me to hike while the
group did a more standard pace. She had a
lot of knowledge to share and the views were
stunning! Definitely worth the value.

Would highly recommend this

Angela was a great guide-
she’s passionate about the area, the
mountains, the biodiversity, etc. It’s
really beautiful, and a nice change of pace
from other typical Granada experiences. I
would highly recommend! I will note the last
ascent to the peak is a bit challenging, but
you can absolutely take your time, so it’s
very manageable.

What a beautiful hike this
was in the Sierra Nevada mountains and
National Park. The air was crisp and clean
and views breathtaking. You could see for
miles and the near mountain tops had the
first dusting of snow for winter. Angela was
very knowledgeable of the area and many
times pointed out shrubs, trees, herbs,
flowers etc that we would recognize. She
also pointed out animal tracks, hair etc so
we would better understand the native fauna.
The first part of the hike is easy but
towards the end it is steeper and had loose
rock. Good hiking shoes and even hiking
sticks are useful. The sunset over the
mountains and view of Granada at sunset and
after dark were wonderful. Also there is no
light pollution so after dark Angela pointed
out stars etc. to us. She even knew many
local sayings that related to the mountains,
moon, stars etc. would definitely recommend!

If you can do one activity in
Granada, I would recommend this one. Angela
was so knowledgeable and taught us so much
about the Sierra Nevada, Granada, and Spain.
The views at the peak were beautiful in
every direction, and it felt like we had the
mountain to ourselves. My wife, who I had to
convince to do this experience, said it was
the highlight of her trip. We also met so
many new friends in our group and had a
blast getting to know all of them. Thank you
so much to Angela and Kira!!!

Beautiful afternoon/evening
walk in Sierra Nevada mountains and lovely
way to get into Nature while being in
Granada. The last part to the summit to see
the sunset was a little challenging but
manageable. On the walk bqck we were able to
appreciate the beauty of the evening sky
away from city lights - Highly recommend!

Incredible and unique way to
see another side of Granada. This hike was a
great way to be out in the mountains and
also meet new friends! A major highlight for
us that was outside of the normal tourist
activities. A must if you’re visiting

This hike is magic. We were
in the car for less than twenty minutes when
we reached the trailhead. Angela is so
engaging and connected with all of us
immediately. She was so well prepared and
had a walking stick for each of us and an
extra small pack for any of us who needed
it. The path we hiked was lined with so many
herbs, lavender, and berries that Angela
took time to point out and talk to us about
what is natural to the area and what’s grows
up there. We saw wildlife and the most
amazing sunset. It took two hours to get to
the peak and it was timed perfectly so we
got about twenty minutes at the top at
exactly the right time. And the walk down
was special too as the sun continued to set.
By the time we got to the car, the stars
were out and with no light pollution they
were easy to see even with some
clouds in the sky. I highly recommend this experience. It seems insane now to come to Granada and not get into the mountains at least for a few hours. Magic!✨

The hike had beautiful views
and interesting terrain. Angela’s knowledge
of the trail is unreal. She encouraged safe
exploring and offered education on the local
plants and wildlife. We visited at the start
of autumn and got to enjoy the smells of
wild herbs and forage for berries along the
way. We even spotted some Iberian Ibex
during our hike. Of course, as dog lovers
having Kira along to play with and guide us
along the trail made it unforgettable.

and the timing was perfect that we were able
to catch the sunset on summit. Angela made

This hike is a must do! The
views and sights were absolutely
breathtaking and incredible. Angela is very

It was an amazing

adorable chienne Kira et les autres
aventuriers dans le Parc National de la
Sierra Nevada. Angela est dynamique, fun et
possède une vaste connaissance de la nature.
Son enthousiasme a rendu la balade encore
plus enrichissante, aussi bien humainement
que sur le plan de l’exploration.
Nous avons eu la chance d’assister à un magnifique coucher de soleil, suivi peu de temps après par l’apparition presque magique d’une pleine lune. Ce moment suspendu dans le temps a été l’apothéose d’une randonnée dans un environnement à couper le souffle, entre gorges impressionnantes, cascades et ponts suspendus.
Je recommande cette expérience à tous ceux qui souhaitent s’immerger pleinement dans la beauté sauvage de la Sierra Nevada tout en partageant une aventure inoubliable 🌟

This is a fantastic hike. It
was much more than she described and be
prepared for an adventurous time. Crawling
in rock tunnels. Going under waterfalls and
walking through rivers was fantastic. Angela
was funny and passionate about her country
and this area. If you want to get out of the
city and have some fun this is for you. It

This was a fantastic
adventure just outside of Granada. Angela
and Kira were great guides, and the park we
explored was so much more than I expected.
This was just over a 7km hike in a range of
trail conditions - river rocks, stones, flat
trail, some narrow passages, and a couple
steep hills. Definitely not just a nature
walk so read Angela’s guidance in the
description closely. She knows the area well
and will make this a really great
experience.

The pictures on the airbnb
website do not do the experience justice! It
was amazing seeing it in person! Angela was
great, she always made sure we were safe and
she was obviously very knowledgeable about
the area. We were always comfortable with
her because we knew she knew where we were
at all times and she knew exactly what she
was doing :) I highly recommend this
experience, especially for people who like
cold plunges! The river was soo cold and it
was electrifying to go inside of the water!!
Lastly, Kira our four pawed guide was sooooo
gentle and kind. She was very independent
and loved some pats. No need to worry about
her if you're not an animal person and if
you are, you'll love having her around!

If you’re looking for an
activity in Granada, this hike should 100%
be on the top of your list. It was the
highlight of our vacation. Angela is such a
gem of a human being. Our hike with Kira and
Angela went from swimming in the mountain
rivers, to hiking in the mountains, to
seeing the most amazing sunset I’ve ever
seen; I cannot recommend this experience
more!!! My family all went on this hike
ranging from 21-59 years old and it was
perfect for everyone.
We even got to eat fresh figs and learn about the natural herbs that grow in the Sierra Nevada mountains. I hope to return to Granada and hike with Angela and Kira again, it was an experience of a lifetime and something my family will cherish forever.

Highly recommend! The sunset
views of the Sierra Nevada are stunning.
Know that you will get soaked. Our clothes
dried off by the end of the hike, but shoes
were still wet. Bring sandals to change
into. Angela shared tidbits about the flora
and fauna along the hike. Loved our time
with her, Kira and the small hiking group.

My family, children aged 12
and 14 went on this hike yesterday evening
and really enjoyed it. It was the coolest
we’ve been since arriving! Lovely walk with
amazing views. Angela knows all the great
spots for taking a dip and Kira makes sure
we’re heading in the right direction! You
can get completely soaked if you want to or
just wet your feet and cool off.

Enjoyed every step of the way
on the hike, amazing scenery, moderate
fitness level, prepare to get wet and dusty,
bring little (water and snack) soak in the
experience, waterfalls, sun setting out of
this world, Angela was not available on our
time slot, but offered us a friend to do the
tour, he was very knowledgeable and a really
nice guy to walk with, very informative
about the amazing rock climbing 🧗 would
most definitely recommend doing this if
you’re in the area, we will remember it !!

Amazing! ⭐️ Both
Angela & Kira are an absolute delight. We
saw some incredible sights, the walk was not
particularly difficult and Angela tailored
the difficulty to what we were comfortable
doing. Her experience of local plants and
the area only adds to the authenticity of
the experience. Furthermore, she timed the
walk perfectly and we saw an incredible
sunset before the descent. It was the
perfect way to spend a July day and get out
of the Granada heat.

We went with a big group with
kids age 9-14 and had a blast! The nature is
overwhelming beautiful and the hike is very
diverse to keep the kids entertained. There
were hills, caves, rivers, forest and to get
wet was a big refreshment and a lot of fun
for adults and kids! Angela is a sweet and
knowledgeable guide. I will definetly

Angela and Kira were super
guides. Angela was so kind, attentive and
knew about the place. Kira was just the
cutest ever. Although I was not able to
fully do all what was offered as I felt cold
in the canyon, immersing myself in the
beautiful Sierra Nevada was a highlight of
my stay in Granada. The hike itself was not
hard at all and felt safe as Angela was an
expert and took care of each of us. Highly

I cannot recommend this
experience enough, this was the highlight of
my trip to Granada. Angela is very attentive
and knowledgeable, she made sure we were all
safe and comfortable and I felt looked after
the entire time.
The area is fantastic, and Angela has been hiking it for over a decade and knows basically every nook and cranny. She even took time to tell us about the vegetation and have us experience areas that other guides might miss out on.
Be prepared to learn a lot and get very wet! Throw yourself in, and just bring a spare pair of socks and you will have the best experience ever!!

This was AMAZING. Angela
really took us along this hike at the
perfect pace, with loads of fascinating
information about the local wild herbs,
trees and other vegetation. It was an
aromatic hike to say the least. The mountain
riverwater wading and waterfalls at the
start really cooled us off and climbing
through crags was fun- so trust her when she
says to wear sturdy shoes that can get
submerged. The views at the end as the sun
was setting were stunning. And Kira was
delightful, guiding us the whole way with
her enthusiastic galop and her watchful,
gentle gaze.

Angela is kindhearted and
warm. She clearly loves her job. She went
out of her way to ensure that everyone had a
great time and stayed safe. She was
extremely knowledgeable about everything
that we saw and we even ended with a snack
of fresh figs from a tree on the hike. It
was an unmatched experience as we travelled
underneath waterfalls and through pools of
mountain water. Kira was such an added
bonus. Cannot recommend this enough!

I had such an amazing time on
this hike. Kira lead our pack wonderfully
and Angela was so great and knowledgeable.
She made me feel safe at all times and was
very attentive. She knew so much about the
plants and the land. I learned a great deal
from her. The terrain is a little rough so I
recommend following Angela's advice on all
things. I did not feel exhausted or
uncomfortable at any time. The views were

both equally fun, friendly and professional
- hiking the Sierra Nevada was even more
special and memorable. Angela is a very

My friend and I enjoyed this

5 senses were thoroughly engaged throughout
the hike. Angela has extensive knowledge
about plants, we learnt alot from her and
could listen to her all day. She made sure

Great experience in Granada
with a knowledgeable and friendly host. A
nice change to the scenery in the city and
wonderful views from the mountains. Angela

An amazing experience with
Angela. The hike is truly breathtaking in
its beauty. Angela is so knowledgeable on
the area and all the wonderful unique
flowers that grow in the Sierra Nevada. The
hike is about 6-7km in length and is
suitable for most abilities. It’s relatively
easy walking apart from the final 500m-1km
when it is a bit more steep but worth the
effort to see the sunset and amazing views.
Angela is patient and goes at a very relaxed
pace allowing time to take in all the views
and to appreciate the surroundings. She also
provided walking poles to help us which I
would recommend. Worth every single cent and
hands down the best trip we have done is a
long time. I should also mention the lovely
Kira who is a wondeful canine walking
companion. Thank you both. Highly
recommended.

Amazing does not do justice!
It was a rainy and cloudy hike. Not
expecting sunset or stars - the hike was
beautiful and so interesting. The botany,
flowers and different landscapes were so
exciting. There were no other hikers- we had
the Sierra Nevadas to ourselves.
Angela’s love for the area, mountains and botany was contagious. Hiking in April after rains made for a trip of unexpected surprises. When we got to the top of the peak -it was cloudy and raining to the west but the sun reflected through light rain. We have never seen anything like this sunset to include Angela. Goes to show that nature provides a spectacular show in many ways. Angela allowed us to hike at our pace and make sure we took in all the mid-mountains had to offer. Highly recommended.

I would recommend this
experience to anybody that wants to see a
part of Granada that most people wouldn’t
know existed. The scenery and wildlife was
incredible, with many species that are
endemic to the area. Seeing an ibex was a
particular special experience. Angela and
Kira were brilliant guides and Angela was
very knowledgable about the area, the flora,
and the fauna. She also had unbelievable
stories about the area. The walk was of
manageable difficulty; during the final
ascent we each walked at our own pace,
meaning that I could challenge myself to get
to the top quickly while my grandmother was
able to get to the top at her own pace. The
experience was even better than expected and
I can’t recommend it enough.

My husband and I love nature
and hiking, and wanted to really experience
the beauty of Sierra Nevada at sunset. This
experience surpassed our expectations and is
one of the favourite activities we have ever
done, although my husband was really ill we
managed to enjoy the nature, sunset and
views. Angela was a great guide and very
personable, she taught us about the plants,
clouds and stars and we would do this again
and again when coming back to Spain
(although we secretly wish that other
tourists don't find this gem and the nature
will be preserved and special for
generations to come). Angela was passionate
and patient and we loved the night hiking
and stargazing so much more than we
expected. Kira (Angela's dog) was the
friendliest and happiest dog and we were
happy to meet her as well.

Stunning views with great
company. We saw wild ibexes multiple times
and the sunset from the top was incredible,
with the mountains with snow cap turning
pink. And on the walk back you see all the
stars and constellations, which Angela took
time to point out and explain. With that
said, Angela is super kind and knowledgeable
about the fauna/flora in the area which made
the hike very interesting. Also Kira the pup
is absolutely adorable. Highly recommend!

Amazing, spectacular hike.
Couldn’t have been more perfect. Absolutely

Such a cool adventure! Angela
and her dog Kyra take you high into the
Sierra Nevada, where you can watch the
sunset over distant Granada; then you
descend into a canyon and follow up a small
river past waterfalls, hanging bridges, and
places where fallen rocks had formed a
tunnel, until you come out into a starlit
clearing and get to watch the stars in near
complete darkness. Throughout, Angela takes
the time to point out all sorts of
interesting things like plants and herbs,
strange rock formation, constellations and
more. You feel you are really immersed in
nature, and not just being out for a stroll!
Angela is a very conscientious guide and
makes sure everyone is safe. This said,
you'll need good shoes, clothes that can get
dirty and a sense of adventure--you'll be
going up and down a lot, and most of the
trek is in the dark with flashlights, so not
your average walk in the park! =) It all
adds up to a unique experience that you
won't soon forget. 100% recommended!

This was an experience for a
lifetime!! If you can hike a moderate trail
and love mountain scenery and nature, you
will absolutely love this experience. 10 out
of 10!!! Breathtaking views! Fresh air! The
silence of nature! Beauty in 360degrees.
Angela was a great host, very knowledgeable
about the Parque Sierra Nevada and her
companion Kira is a beautiful soul dog that
is a joy to have on the hike. Do NOT miss
this experience in Granada!

Ondanks dat wij op een
bewolkte dag waren was deze wandeling
prachtig. In plaats van een zonsondergang en
daarna een sterrenhemel werden we
getrakteerd op diepe dalen, een surreëel
maan landschap en mystieke plaatjes waarbij
een waterig zonnetje scheen op een prachtig
mistbos. Onder welke weersomstandigheid dan
ook is deze wandeling een absolute aanrader.

This hike is a great way to
get a taste of the Sierra Nevada mountains
right outside of the city. Angela was
friendly and shared a lot of great knowledge
with us. The hike itself is about 6km long -
the elevation picks up towards the last km
with some switchbacks but it’s never too
steep or technical. If you like to be
outdoors and want to see the mountains up
close, then I would recommend this activity.

This experience is a must do!
Angela and Kira (her lovely dog) were an
absolute joy to take a hike with. She has
some surprises throughout the walk that I
dont want to spoil for future hikers, but
when she let Kira out of the car, so she
could get some extra exercise it was just
the start of a great hike. Angela is an
awesome & funny guide with so much knowledge
of the mountains. The two peaks at Sunset
are absolutely stunning. I would attach some
pictures but they really do not even do the
scene justice. Also, the hike is really not
too challenging if you are worried about the
psychical component of the hike. Angela
walks at a very nice pace and more than
welcome to help with anything. Thank you
very much to Angela & Kira!!! PS - if my
wife & I end up being kiwi farmers in New
Zealand, you get all the credit!

This experience was 100%
worth it. It was absolutely amazing, we had
the chance to see wild goats and explore
parts of the canyon we otherwise wouldn’t
have seen. The hike being at night enhanced
the experience tenfold. Highly recommend,

This was a good hike.
Recommend to do it if you have extra days.
It’s a bit harder than expected and would
require proper shoes. Angela provided extra
gloves and hat as it was a very cold. Though
we got late because of traffic, we could
have made for the time by making less stops
so that we don’t miss the sunset. The last
bit is a steep climb and needs more time
than allocated.

I started my first full day
in Granada with this nature hike tour. It
was a great experience overall. Angela gave
us a pick-up point. I got to the area quite
early and ended up walking to this nearby
park where you can see the villages on the
hills and mountains across the highway. I
highly recommend you take a walk in the park
as it has a beautiful tree-lined path.
There’s also a Lidl nearby if you want to
grab drinks and snacks for the hike. On the
way to the summit, Angela explains some of
the unique floras of Sierra Nevada. This
path was easy. Our hike day was a bit cold,
so I guess the ibexes were chilling
somewhere else. No problem. I have
cynophobia, but Angela’s dog, Kira, was
extremely calm. I got some exposure therapy
by walking and petting Kira, and that was
honestly the highlight for me lol. The hike
to the summit is where I felt like dying, as
a very non-active person. However, it is
possible to do it as I, a complete amateur,
arrived at the summit. There are two peaks
nearby each other, but I was very tired, and
we had limited time to go to the second,
slightly higher one. This point of the hike
is an area of improvement as the time at the
summit felt limited given the winter sunset,
especially if you take a while with the
inclined hike. Maybe an earlier start would
be better, especially in winter time. The
limited sunlight was my motivation to
maintain pace. Got some pics right before
the sun disappeared and then went back down
before it got dark. Angela also had spare
walking sticks (poles?), so those definitely
helped. On the way back, we learned about
some star constellations and had good chats.
It was beautiful to see the stars and still
have light from the half-moon. You can see
the beautiful and illuminated city of
Granada as you head back down.

This was an unforgettable
experience. The hike and the view is what
you'd expect on a sunset hike outside of a
city. But the unbelievable storytelling,
stopping to smell different plants for a
variety of spices, learning about the
landscape of Granada and the mountains is
what made it the highlight of our vacation.
Angela leaves nothing to chance offering
additional water, hiking stick, and headlamp
for the walk back. Safety is important and
she checks your shoes and water supply
before starting. Kira is an excellent group
leader and makes sure everyone is on task.
She moves at your pace and applies no
pressure. We also lucked out with an
unbelievable group that quickly became
friends and even spent some time after the
hike while in Granada. This was because of
Angela's warm, and energetic vibe. And to
top it off, as we were looking at the milky
way...we even saw a satellite train! (I
missed the 2 shooting stars 😢)
Please come and spend time with Angela the
next time you're in the area. It just might
be the highlight of your trip too!

This is an amazing tour! We
saw the golden hour and Milky Way, the

We had a great time hiking
with Angela and some other people. The
sunset was beautiful even though it was a
bit of a hazy day. We wanted do some
astrophotography and Angela showed us where
exactly where to go to see stars and milky
way and how to get back to the car park
before she left us in the mountain on our
own. Of course this was agreed before hand
that we would take our own car there and
drive ourselves back! Angela also provided a
lot of tips that was very useful for our
onward trip in Andalusia. thank you so much

Book this hike it’s an
amazing few hours, away from the boiling
heat of the city and into the lush greens
and cooling waters of a beautiful landscape.
Angela as everyone has already said is a
perfect host; very caring and full of useful
information. She paces the trip perfectly.
Kira; a faithful companion and Miguel (the
taxi driver) a reliable and safe driver.
It’s not too strenuous, it has exciting bits
that are fun but you always feel safe with
Angela by your side. Our 18 and 15 year olds
loved it too. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting
our fellow travellers who helped to make it
even more special. Wear clothes and trainers
you don’t care too much about as they will
get completely wet and a bit dusty. You
don’t need a towel as you’ll dry off before
you get back to the start. A phone/camera
waterproof pouch is useful. Angela gives you
little backpacks which are great for your
water bottles and phone. Also the cafe next
to pharmacy was nice before we left and the
restaurant on the roundabout was great for
dinner when we returned. (They kindly
ignored our dishevelled appearance!)

experience enough. It was the highlight of
our trip to granada - and that was for my
three teenage daughters as well who loved

One of my favourite Airbnb
experiences! Angela is friendly and
charismatic - she shows genuine passion
through this hike, stopping to inform you
about native forna and flora. It's a
relatively leisurely hike with a steep
incline to summit for sunset. The peak
offers magnificent views and then we were
also lucky enough to enjoy the Milky way on
the stroll back (weather dependant
obviously!). She is also highly
communicative, making sure you know the pick
up time and location. I couldn't recommend

Angela was LOVELY. She is
everything you hope for when booking
something like this. She knows her stuff and
she is just nice to be around. She paid
attention to the details (pointed out plants
and herbs along the hike) as well as gave
great overviews connecting the paths we took
so we could sítiate ourselves in the Sierra
Nevadas. I love to see people do what they
love and she clearly loves this place. Her
dog Kira was also an added bonus to the fun.
We met some fun people on the hike that made

Angela’s enthusiasm for
hiking with her dog Kira and walking into
waterfalls is infectious. We had so much
fun. A beautiful walk in the Sierra Nevada
national park which is nature’s herb garden!
The walk is not strenuous but you will get
wet and it’s worth it. A wonderful evening.

This was such an incredible

Couldn’t have asked for a
better guide! Angela was super friendly,
answered all my questions beforehand,
provided lots of detail around the meeting
point and even had rain ponchos ready for
us. It did rain on my trip which wasn’t the
best, but Angela made it fun still and the
rain cleared up at the end as we came out of
the canyon, making way for blue skies and a
sunset Angela timed for us to make which was
brilliant. Really great little group, had a
great time and you will too!

This hike with Angela ( who
was lovely and a font of information)
exceeded all expectations. Heed her advice,
wear grippy shoes, expect to get wet( Kira
will see to that!) take water and a snack
and you’ll have a fabulous experience. There
were a couple of people in our group who had
issues with heights but managed the
suspension bridges without concern . A
fabulous walk was topped off with a climb
out of a gorge, ibex silhouetted against the
ridge in the distance and a beautiful
Andalusian sunset!

This is a magical hike with a
very satisfying summit view. Angela knows
each corner of this path which is especially
helpful when coming down after sunset. It
was very safe, gorgeous views and a cute dog

This trail was absolutely
magical! It was not strenuous but rather a
lovely walk through nature with tons of
adventure. Be sure to bring clothes that you
are okay with getting wet and a small towel
is not a bad idea either. The views were
beautiful and Angela wonderfully and safely
guided us through. Kira was also a joyous
and very excited guide. 100% recommend and
would definitely do this again!

It was wonderful getting out
of the city and into the wilds a bit. Angela
led us on an easy-going hike along mountain
paths to a final sharper ascent...worth the
climb, for sure. We appreciated her
knowledge of wild herbs and other plants
(would love to see the orchids blooming!),
and I, in particular, enjoyed the return
hike in the evening dusk. We were also very
appreciative of Miguel - the taxi driver -
who brought us all the way back up to the
AlbaicIn on our return. We hiked with a
sweet, small group, and Angela was a
wonderful leader.

The hike and sunset were so
beautiful, and seeing the moon and stars out
on our way back was an extra bonus. The hike
was not difficult, just a bit of a climb
with a couple of switchbacks at the very
end. I appreciated this so much, because I
wouldn’t have had a way to get to the
mountains otherwise.

I can only recommend doing
this hike! Angela is a super nice person who

The hike is amazing. We only
saw one other person on the trip - you have
to do this while visiting Granada or the
area. Bonus: looking at the stars after
sunset - if you are traveling from the city
you will be especially amazed at the amount

Amazing experience! Angela is

The sunset hike (and surprise
night hike aspect) in the Sierra Nevada
national park with our guides Angela and her
cute doggo Kira was one of the highlights of
our time in Granada!
As an avid hiker, I had a lot of fun as there are some “extra energy spending” mini routes for the adventurous, a spectacular view through a unique route(not findable easily on trail apps/websites), so many cool herbs and flowers to discover and a banger of a night hike to end things.
Chatting with Angela helped us realize the infectious passion she has for hiking and discovering the mountains. She enthusiastically recommended some other cool hikes in the area and sent me detailed instructions to find them.

We had a magical hike in the
Sierra Nevada with Angela. She was kind,
personable and very knowledgeable about
Granada and the Sierra Nevada. The views
were incredible and diverse--from snow
capped mountains to city views of Granada.
We also learned a lot about the different
plants along the way. Our group varied
widely in ages (my 15 year old son, my
mother-in-law, my husband and myself).
Angela was amazing at making sure everyone
was supported and engaged throughout the
hike. The sunset was incredible and our walk
back (partly in the dark) was an amazing
star gazing experience. We highly recommend
this hike with Angela.

Fantastic hike going between
the Natural and National Parks of Sierra
Nevada!! The host Angela is friendly and
thoughtful, and introduced us to plants and
shared facts about the region on the hike.
We got to enjoy a beautiful sunset at the
end of the hike, which we shared between
guests and her happy dog Kira – we barely
saw anyone else on this hike, which made it
extra special and peaceful. Very nice
adventure to go on for an evening to get out
of the city and enjoy the surrounding nature
if you’re in Granada! Note that someone who
had booked this hike missed it because we
had to leave from the meeting point at a
specific time not to miss the sunset, so
remember that it’s your responsibility to be
there on time and check for any updates or
weather changes the day of the hike. Gracias

Lovely experience with a
great host and adorable, friendly dog with
an inspiring back story. I’ve done multiple
hikes through Airbnb and this was one of the
nicest. Angela finds the perfect spot
between explaining and sharing things on the
way but also letting everyone enjoy the
silence and views. We came down the mountain
after sunset but I felt perfectly safe and
the view of the starry night sky was really
nice. Angela ensures there are options for
people no matter their fitness level, so

The scenery the whole way was very beautiful. For me the hike was rather easy, but the end part to the summit is steep in areas and can be difficult for some. The clouds were moving around all evening and we weren't sure if we would even have a good sunset, but we actually ended up with one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen.

This sunset hike at Sierra
Nevada was AMAZING, I couldn’t recommend it
enough. Angela and Kira were fantastic
guides and offered a lot of very interesting
information about the local flora and fauna.
And stargazing! The views were sooo amazing,
and timing perfect. Highly recommend to any
nature lovers and hikers - and there are
definitely different energy levels that can

The sunset walk with Angela
was the most memorable experience that I
have had during my trip in Spain. The whole
walk from start to finish was an experience
in itself - getting to know and smell the
wild herbs, spotting baby Ibex, chats with
the friendly group of people along the way
and of course the gorgeous views throughout.
The sunset up at the top was breathtaking
with pink hues over the mountain peaks and
the walk back to the starting point under
the milky way initially with city lights and
then in darkness was a wonderful once in a
lifetime experience for me. Angela was very
considerate of my fear of heights and the
group were all very patient with me taking
my time to go up and down the trail to the
peak, noting that I felt safe the whole
trail and there were no steep drops that
triggered my fear. Thank you for the
experience Angela and I will definitely
participate again if I do come to Granada
again!

Die Wanderung mit Angela war
wirklich super und die Aussicht traumhaft
schön! Der grösste Teil der Strecke verläuft
relativ eben und der Aufstieg auf den Gipfel

love for this hike. She is experienced, has
lot to offer for anyone interested in
trekking and hiking. Don't expect a quick 1
hour hop to the mountain and back - this is
a full on experience that takes your whole

It was a fabulous hike! This
a brilliant activity if you’re visiting
Granada and you enjoy the outdoors.
Breathtaking scenery- vigorous yet doable
hike for fit beginner. Angela did a great
job leading us up and down a mountain with
spectacular views of the Sierra mountain
range and Granada. She even pointed out the
planets and constellations on our way back

this adventure - I would strongly recommend
it! I had a fantastic experience with
Angela. She gave clear instructions, came
prepared with extra gear for the weather
that we may need, and was an absolutely
fantastic guide. She was extremely

a different part of Andalucia. The hike was

Angela is incredible! She
makes it incredibly hands-on with the
history and biodiversity in the
National/natural park, and is SO personable
and unique. She made sure that every person
felt comfortable and safe the entire time,
and she helped make it a once-in-a-lifetime

We love Angela and the sunset
she brought us to! We joined 10+ tours
during this trip to Spain and my whole
family rated Angela's simply the best
highlight of the entire trip. I highly
recommend this tour because it is truly one
of a kind because it is not a "national
park" and without a local, it is hard for
visitors to navigate around. It is a

It was a very pleasant hike
through the Sierra Nevada, culminating in
views of a dramatic sunset. We stayed till
dusk, and the skies were clear enough to see
the stars. Angela was a great guide,
pointing out edible herbs and spices as we
trekked along.

This was a super unique
experience and not something we could have
ever done on our own! The hike was a little
slow for my pace but Angela was very
explicit about what the expeditions for it
should be ahead of time. Be sure to pack
extra layers in the winter! It really cools

Angela (and her lovely pup
Kira) was a fantastic host! She told us so
much about the flora and fauna of the
mountains, guided us beginners well on the
hike up and down, and was a good
conversationalist who made the hike super
comfortable and fun for us. Kira is a

An immemorable hike with
Angela and her furry friend! 🐶 This
was a great way to see the Sierra Nevada.
It’s not strenuous, well-paced, and Angela
really makes sure to prioritize everyone
feeling safe and comfortable. She’s very
attentive and looked out for everyone
throughout the time together, provided
hiking sticks and was so helpful in sharing
tips regarding clothing and things to bring
prior to the hike to ensure we were prepared
and could enjoy thoroughly. She also brings

Angela was so kind to be able
to accommodate us last minute when another
tour we were supposed to be on got
cancelled. She really loves what she doing
and it really shows. She was super
informative through out and making sure

need to be a professional hiker to do this
but should be comfortable walking about the

This was my first time truly
hiking and it was an absolutely amazing
experience! It was not too strenuous but
still provided the thrill of an adventure.
Angela was an excellent host with many great
stories to share along the way. Not to
mention, she is prepared with equipment to
help you during the hike! Although I am
afraid of heights, I found this hike to be
very manageable especially as it got dark
outside. I would recommend this hike to

Simply amazing. The mountains

Nature lovers visiting
Granada must not miss hiking the Sierra
Nevada with Angela and Kira! My partner and
I chose the night hike, which meant we had
the opportunity to see stars as well as
wildlife from a distance. Angela provided
headlamps and hiking poles, plus expert
knowledge about the area. Kira added to the
fun and brought lots of playful energy! The
trail that Angela chose was full of
beautiful sights and good smells. We felt
very safe in Angela's care, and the hike was
never too challenging. We highly recommend

We took this tour with

however, this made for an even better
experience!
Angela was super welcoming and friendly, she gave us all rain jackets and walking poles and then we were off!

the sierra nevada mountains
are quite stunning. seeing them and hiking
through was another check off my bucket
list. the air was fresh, crisp and being
among the clouds is a top tier adventure.
was cloudy on the day i went for the sunset,
but the experience was still very much worth
the time and effort. if you have a car, are
traveling with someone and have a mapped
trail guidance, hiking through these routes
on your own seems doable.

If you love to hike and you
don't know where to start, this is an
extremely unique experience that all of us
who participated enjoyed. You can also trust
Angela and her skill in the nature, lest you
are worried about going about in nature. She
is also extremely knowledgeable and can tell
you the various herbs, plants and flowers
along the way, e.g. lavender, rosemary, etc.
Furthermore, there really aren't any experiences where they offer Sierra Nevada despite being a beautiful location, so Angela's a first.

Hands down the best hiking
experience I've been on, and I've been on
quite a few. You cannot go wrong with this

Solo traveler working and
staying Granada for a month. I saw Angela’s
hikes on here and read the reviews and
everything sounded great. The reality was
even better than my expectations! I highly
recommend anyone does this trip, Angela is

making sure we had enough water, providing

to the caves and hiking trails of the Sierra
Nevada , which is why I was very pleased
with Angela's organisation of getting the
group a taxi to take us there! It was so
much more than just a hike in the mountains,

Such a highlight of my trip.
Angela is a wonderful, warm host, and the

Definitely need to feel sure on your feet to

This was a great trip! We did
something we definitely would not have been
able to do on our own without a guide. Had a
wonderful time exploring the mountains and
learning about the area. Angela is great—

If you would like a unique
experience and an opportunity to see the
Sierra Nevada mountains then definitely
include this trip in your Granada plans. It
was fantastic, and one of my most memorable
experiences on a month-long trip to Europe.
It was adventurous. You need general fitness
and a little bit of bravery but it is very
safe and Angela takes good care of everyone.

I had a great experience on
the hike with Angela and her furry
companion, Kira! She helped arrange a taxi
for our group of 4 from our hotel to the
meeting point and back afterwards (approx.
30€ one way from Albaicin neighbourhood).
Angela was super friendly and cheery, and
very knowledgeable about the hiking area.
The first part of the hike brought us to see
some great views at around sunset and then
some fun adventure hiking after dark.
Unfortunately it was quite cloudy the day of
our hike so didn't get to see many stars
out, but the moon was shining beautifully
bright! Some level of fitness is required as
it is a hike, but it's very manageable and
was at a good, relaxed pace. All in all it
was a wonderful experience to have been able
to explore the Sierra Nevada with Angela and
her dog Kira!

This sunset hike with Angela
was so special. I had been to Granada before
but never got out of the city and into the
Sierra Nevadas, and it’s amazing how much
beauty is right there so close to the city.
Angela is so knowledgeable about the area,
is really passionate about hiking, and was a
great guide. Her dog Kira is the sweetest
and was a great hiking buddy as well. I do
think this requires a little bit of prior
hiking experience to be able to do and fully
enjoy, but all in all it’s not too

Hola.
I booked this trip last minute as I’d been looking out for a way to visit the Sierra Nevada for a half day or so and couldn’t find anything. Angela’s experience fulfilled that wish and also her gorgeous Kirra gave me my dog fix. Lovely international people on the trip too. Would highly recommend.

Die Wanderung in der Sierra
Nevada mit Angela und ihrer tollen Hündin
war ein absolutes Highlight unseres Urlaubs
in Andalusien.
Die Strecke über die sie uns geführt hat , war wunderschön. Wir haben sogar Steinböcke gesehen. Auf dem Rückweg konnten wir die Milchstraße bestaunen.
Angela hat außerdem einiges über die Pflanzen und Kräuter am Wegesrand erklärt.
Die Gruppengröße von 7 Personen war ideal. Man konnte sich gut untereinander austauschen und Angela hat mit allen Teilnehmern gesprochen und die Gruppe gut zusammen gehalten. Angela ist auch hervorragend ausgerüstet: Für jeden Teilnehmer hatte sie vorsichtshalber ein Regencape und Wanderstöcke.
Es war ein wunderschönes Erlebnis und wir empfehlen es Naturfreunden sehr weiter.

The hike with Angela was a
highlight of our trip. She’s absolutely
amazing! Warm, knowledgeable, thoughtful. My
friend wasn’t feeling well on the hike
(stomach bug) and Angela went out of her way
to help us and get her medicine once we got
back to town. Overall the views and sky in
the Sierra Nevada are amazing. We are coming
from California and Colorado so I wondered
how it would compare and it was extremely
beautiful and impressive. Thank you Angela!

must do if you are in
Granada!! was waiting to be immersed in
nature after being in cities in spain for a
while and this was perfect! very doable
intensity, the views and the hike is soooo
beautiful & Angela is such a sweet generous
and wonderful guide. we were welcome to go
at our own pace and we even heard some
lovely stories and interesting facts about
the park and flora fauna. met some cool
people too :)

This was one of the best tour

This experience was the
highlight of our trip in Granada! The hike
provided 360 degree views of the area and
there was so much new nature we encountered,
including Ibex! Angela was so wonderful to
talk to, I feel like we came as strangers
and left as friends :) She even lent me very
comfortable hiking shoes. Her pup was a
pleasure to be around as well. We will
definitely be reaching out to Angela to do
another hike if we are ever in the area
again.

Angela is wonderful! Loved
her! Hiking with her is a really magical way
to learn about the trails and nature around

The perfect way the escape
the crowds for a short while at the end of
the day. Angela was informative and
considerate, and the pace was forgiving. The
magical sunset was a bonus after all the
changing mountain vistas and aromatic
flaura.

This experience was
completely magical! Angela was an amazing
host and gave us stellar recommendations for
things to do the rest of our trip. If you
are visiting in the warmer months. Wear
clothes that you are prepared to get fully
wet in as there is an opportunity to cool of
in a cave waterfall!

During our stay in Granada,

This was the best hike i went
on, the view left me speechless and Angela

Angela is AMAZING! She’s so
knowledgeable about every single detail of
the land and she was helpful and caring with
my parents who are in their late 50s/early
60s and have knee problems. She stuck with
them, while letting us youngsters go ahead,
and made sure they got to the end of the
hike to see the beautiful sunset! I’ve never
had such an amazing guide or such a
beautiful tour! Highly recommend this
activity. We’ve been in Spain for 3 days and
did so many things during this time and this
is by far is the best experience we had
here!

This experience was
absolutely wonderful from start to finish.
We coordinated a ride from the meeting spot
with Angela (as we were only a party of 2
and could fit in her car) and from the get
go Angela was incredibly welcoming and
shared much of her love for Spain and Sierra
Nevada. The hike was very manageable for the
first 3/4 and then became a little bit
steeper to reach the summit. For the steeper
part Angela gave instructions to stay on the
path and allowed everyone to go at their own
pace. For people who are not as sure footed,
Angela will guide you the whole way up. The
whole hike had stunning views but once you
reach the summit it is just breathtaking.
You have a 360 view with a beautiful sunset.
On the way down it was getting dark but
Angela was well equipped with a headlamp if
anyone needed it. Angela would guide us
through any rocky areas so everyone always
felt safe. We were able to see many stars
and even the Milky Way on our way down. Once
back to the trailhead, Angela drove us back
to the meeting spot. I cannot recommend this
experience enough, it is truly once in a
lifetime all thanks to Angela and Kira!

It was a fun adventure
bonding with the group, Angela and her dog
and the Sierra Nevada water caves and
mountains! We loved it! Note that you will
be fully wet (ie swimming with your shoes
on) so make sure to bring clothes that you
don't care too much about!

Our family totally enjoyed
this sunset hike. Angela goes above and
beyond to make it comfortable and safe for
everyone. She made sure everyone reached at
the right place, and got picked up at the
end of the hike.
During the hike she has very interesting things to share about the Sierra Nevada and surrounding natural area.
The sunset is beautiful at the summit point, very much worth the uphill walk.
The best part was the star filled sky that we got an opportunity to see on the way back. Thanks Angela!

I highly recommend to anyone
to try this, Angela is amazing and her dog
Kira is such a good companion, the path is
not very demanding it is an easy hike with
an amazing view and scenary, the sunset is
amazing and the return trip is even better
if you are lucky and no full moon and clear
sky you will have the chance to see the sky
full of stars.

If you're in Granada, don't
hesitate to book this tour. It was magical
and a completely unforgettable experience.
Angela was very knowledgeable and ensured
that everybody had the best experience
possible. The sunset was incredible but we
absolutely loved the night sky on the way

Wonderful hiking experience
with Angela. Beautiful location in the
Sierra Nevadas outside Granada. The cool,
fresh air was very welcome after 3 weeks in

Awesome evening/night hike

minute of our little adventure jn the
mountains with our experienced and
knowledgable guides. We got wet in

Het was een fantastische
hike. Angela weet de mooiste plekjes te
vinden met de mooiste beekjes, watervallen
en uitzichten. Ze gaf je al ruimte om de
omgeving te ontdekken. Je wordt nat tijdens
deze hike, maar je droogt vanzelf snel weer
op. Neem zo min mogelijk spullen mee. Neem 1
flesje water mee en tijdens de hike kan je
deze constant vullen met het verse bronwater
wat uit de bergen komt. Echt een aanrader
deze hike!

This hike was so good! We
started at about 4pm on a really hot day but
we were immediately in the river cooling
down with Angela and her dog Kira. The
mountains were much cooler than the city and
being in and out of the water was so
refreshing. The hike was not easy but with
moderate fitness you will be ok. Take a zip
lock bag for your phone. There are lots of
places to refill water bottles and you are
in the shade for most of the hike so sun
protection is not super necessary. Highly
recommend booking this one!

We all loved our time with
Angela, Kira and the others in the walk. We
spent oodles of time in and out of the
waterfalls and then a walk along the top of
the canyon in the evening. Our teenagers
loved snapping the stunning views, wonderful

Hele mooie wandeling met
geweldige uitzichten! De klim zelf was wat
vermoeiender dan ik had verwacht, maar
alsnog goed te doen. Angela en Kiera waren
super vriendelijk en wisten zoveel over de
omgeving te vertellen. Wij hadden wat
problemen met de locatie, maar hebben hier
zelfs een deel van het bedrag voor terug
gekregen. Echt een aanrader!
